Day 01 Arrival & Transit (-/-/-)
Upon arrival at Chengdu International airport, meet and greet your tour guide, take a high-speed train or bus to Chongqing,(approx 1.5 - 2 hours.
Explore Ciqikou Ancient Town, a historic pedestrian street lined with Ming-Qing era architecture, traditional teahouses, and street food.
Spend the evening walking around the Hongya Cave or Hongya Dong, a famous 11-story stilt-house complex in Chongqing, China, built into the cliffs along the Jialing River, and is especially renowned for its stunning nighttime illuminations.
Have Lunch, and visit the Qiansimen Bridge, officially the Qiansimen Jialing River Bridge, one of the most iconic engineering marvels and tourist landmarks in Chongqing, spanning across the Jialing River, connects the bustling Jiefangbei Central Business District in the Yuzhong District directly to Jiangbei City and view the spectacular, illuminated cliffside buildings and Yangtze River views.

Day 02 Chongqing Exploration (B/-/-)
After breakfast, proceed to visit the Liziba Light Rail Station, a world-famous straddle-type monorail station on Line 2 of the Chongqing Rail Transit system, renowned because the train line passes directly through a 19-story residential apartment building, squeezed between steep hills and the Jialing River, the station occupies floors 6 through 8 of the mixed-use structure.
Have Lunch, and head on to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street is the bustling, ultra-dense downtown core of Chongqing, famous as the first major commercial walking street in Western China. Covering over 36,000 square meters in the Yuzhong District, It is entirely free to visit and open 24/7, though the surrounding shopping centers typically operate from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Browse local boutiques, upscale malls, and enjoy Chongqing’s famous hotpot.
End the day visiting the People's Great Hall, a grand cultural landmark also called the Chongqing People's Auditorium, an iconic, ancient-style municipal landmark located at the People's Square in the Yuzhong District, built between 1951 and 1954 under the leadership of Marshal He Long, considered one of the most magnificent auditoriums constructed after the founding of the People's Republic of China, today, it acts as a primary political, cultural, and architectural symbol of the city.

Day 03 Chengdu Panda Base (B/-/-)
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Chengdu, an aviation history began in 1938 with the establishment of Shuangguisi, a military dirt airfield. Following its transition to civil aviation in 1956, was renamed Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, evolved into a major international hub, famously serving as the central humanitarian hub during the 2008 Sichuan earthquake relief efforts. To accommodate surging growth, the city expanded into a dual-airport system on June 27, 2021, with the opening of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. This milestone made Chengdu the third city in mainland China (after Beijing and Shanghai) to operate two major international airports.
Spend the morning at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, a world-renowned non-profit facility dedicated to wildlife conservation, scientific research, and educational tourism, located just 10 kilometres northeast of downtown Chengdu, Sichuan Province, home to the world's largest captive giant panda population, housing more than 240 giant pandas. (best visited early to see the pandas active).
The Chengdu Wuhou Shrine (Wuhou Temple) is a premier historic site dedicated to Liu Bei (Emperor of the Shu Han) and his brilliant strategist, Zhuge Liang, built in 223 AD, the only shrine in China where a monarch and his minister are worshiped together.
Have Lunch, and stroll down Jinli Ancient Street a 550-meter-long pedestrian market street located in the Wuhou District of Chengdu, famously recognized by CNN Travel as one of the world's most beautiful streets. Steeped in history, its roots date back over 1,800 years to the Three Kingdoms period, earning it the title of the "First Street of the Shu Kingdom". Today, it is meticulously restored with late Qing Dynasty style architecture, featuring dramatic curved eaves, gray tiles, wooden facades, and iconic red lanterns, a vibrant cultural hub where you can experience classic Sichuan folk art, lively teahouses, and world-renowned street food, to shop for local handicrafts.

Day 04 Chengdu Historic and Culture (B/-/-)
After breakfast, proceed for a historical and cultural day tour, a 2-hour drive or bullet-train ride from Chengdu downtown, starting with Leshan Giant Buddha, hike alongside the 1,300-year-old statue, the largest and tallest stone Buddha statue in the world, standing at an incredible 71 metres (233 feet) tall, carved directly into a red sandstone cliff face in China's southern Sichuan Province, this massive monument overlooks the confluence of the Min, Dadu, and Qingyi rivers. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996 alongside the nearby sacred Mount Emei.
Take a scenic boat ride in Chengdu, the best choice is the Jinjiang River Night Cruise. This 30-minute excursion glides past illuminated bridges, traditional architecture, and vibrant city nightlife. Alternatively, you can book a day trip to take a riverboat cruise to the majestic Leshan Giant Buddha, float past beautifully lit landmarks like the Hejiang Pavilion and the iconic Anshun Bridge, often accompanied by traditional live flute music or comedic performances on the riverbanks.
Have Lunch, and visit the Sichuan Cuisine Museum, located in the Pidu District, world's only museum dedicated to regional cooking culture. Tour the relics, taste traditional soy sauce, and take an immersive cooking class.
Next, visit the Chengdu City Heritage Walk, spend a half-day wandering the historic Kuanzhai Alley (Wide and Narrow Alley), and relaxing at an open-air teahouse in People's Park (Renmin Park) to watch locals play mahjong.

Day 05 Departure (B/-/-)
After breakfast, check out and visit the Tianfu Square, the geographical center, cultural core, and primary landmark of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, covering over 88,000 square meters, it stands as the largest city square in Southwest China and holds a cultural status similar to Beijing's Tiananmen Square.
Next, visit the Chengdu Museum New Hall, the largest comprehensive museum in Chengdu, housed in a striking modern architectural masterpiece located right on the west side of Tianfu Square, designed by the UK-based firm Sutherland Hussey Harris, the building spans 65,000 square meters and features an iconic "Gold Inlaid Jade" facade made of a geometric metal framework interwoven with glass. It serves as a comprehensive cultural journey spanning from Chengdu's ancient Shu civilization to modern folk customs.
Have Lunch and transfer to International airport to catch up the evening flight for your onwards destination.
