After breakfast, check out and proceed to discover Hangzhou’s rich canal heritage at Gongchen Bridge, a historic stone bridge spanning the Grand Canal and offering picturesque views of the waterways in Hangzhou, that serves as the landmark southern terminus of the legendary UNESCO World Heritage-listed Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, originally constructed in 1631 during the Ming Dynasty, stands as the tallest and longest ancient stone arch bridge in the city. The name Gongchen carries royal significance, and the Gong means to salute or welcome, while Chen represents the emperor's palace, symbolizing the historic gateway where local officials would welcome visiting emperors.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to explore Suzhou’s cultural treasures starting with the historic Hanshan Temple, Cold Mountain Temple, a historic Buddhist temple located in the Gusu District of Suzhou, founded in the 6th century during the Liang Dynasty, it sits along the ancient Grand Canal. The temple is culturally immortalised by the famous Tang Dynasty poem "A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge" by Zhang Ji, famous for its bell-ringing ceremonies and classical poetry.
Visit the architecturally stunning Suzhou Museum, designed by I.M. Pei, housing exquisite Chinese art and artifacts, a world-renowned cultural landmark in Suzhou, founded in 1960, the museum houses more than 30,000 priceless cultural relics, including ancient Chinese paintings, calligraphy, jades, and ceramics.
Stroll through the serene Lingering Garden, or Liú Yuán in Suzhou, situated outside Changmen Gate, built in 1593 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) when a retired official named Xu Taishi commissioned well-known stonemason Zhou Shicheng to build it as his primary residence.
Next, visit the alongside Humble Administrator's Garden, only 600 meters away from the Suzhou Museum, so you can take a stroll from the museum to the garden, covering an area of 5.2 hectares, the largest in Suzhou, so it is worth spending 2.5 hours to see the highlights in the garden.
Visit the Beijing's Summer Palace, in Suzhou" refers to Suzhou Street (Suzhoujie) inside the Summer Palace in Beijing, commissioned in 1751 by Emperor Qianlong, a 270-meter replicated water town mimics the markets of the Yangtze River region, allowing Qing Dynasty royals to "go shopping" as ordinary citizens.
Visit the Chengde Mountain Resort, also known as the Chengde Mountain Resort or the Jehol Summer Palace, constructed on the Chengde Summer Resort, began in the 42nd year of the Kangxi reign (1703). The summer resort was both the largest Qing dynasty imperial garden and also the best preserved among existing detached imperial palaces, renowned for its elegant landscaping and artistic layout.

Next, visit the Museum of Chinese Ancestral Hall Culture typically refers to the renowned Huishan Ancient Town in Wuxi, Jiangsu province. Unlike typical water towns, this sprawling tourist attraction spans over 1,000 years and is uniquely composed of over a 100 ancient Ming and Qing dynasty family temples.
Next, visit the Jichang Garden a world-renowned, 500-year-old classical Chinese garden located inside Xihui Park within the Huishan Ancient Town, a scenic area in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, first constructed in 1520 during the Ming Dynasty by an official named Qin Jin, it is universally celebrated as a masterpiece of Jiangnan hillside garden design and visited frequently by Qing Dynasty Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong.
Have Lunch, and visit the Second Spring Under Heaven or Tianxia Di'er Quan, a 1,200-year-old historically famous fresh water spring located inside Xihui Park at the foot of Mount Hui in western Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, also known as Huishan Spring, universally celebrated as a cultural landmark deeply tied to Chinese tea history and classical music.
Later, visit the Huishan Clay Figurines, a famous traditional Chinese folk art originating from Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, with a rich history spanning over 400 years, listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, renowned for their vibrant colors, expressive features, and deep cultural roots. Start with the Xihui Park, a renowned key state park and cultural scenic area located west of Wuxi in China's Jiangsu province, established in 1958, beautifully centered around Xishan (Mount Xi) and Huishan (Mount Hui), offering iconic panoramic city views, historical gardens, and a deep look into local cultural heritage.
Next, visit the Jichang Garden, most celebrated historical jewel, located directly inside the park's boundaries, together, they combine expansive natural mountain landscapes with some of the finest classical Chinese garden architecture in South China.
Have Lunch and visit the lakeside Liyuan Garden in Wuxi, famous for its lakeside Jiangnan vistas, refers to two highly famous classical Chinese gardens, each offering a completely different cultural experience depending on the location you are looking for.
And the other garden, Liyuan Garden in Kaiping, famous for its unique blend of Western architecture and defensive watchtowers, celebrated for its graceful pavilions, bridges, and landscaping.
Conclude the day visiting the Xue Family Garden, also known as the Former Residence of Xue Fucheng, showcasing exquisite traditional architecture and garden artistry, located at Xueqian Street in the Liangxi District of Wuxi, built between 1890 and 1894, was the palatial estate of the prominent late-Qing Dynasty diplomat and reformer, Xue Fucheng. Next, explore the culturally rich, the Nanjing Confucius Temple, known locally as Fuzimiao, is a premier cultural landmark and vibrant pedestrian district located along the historic Qinhuai River in southern Nanjing, originally built during the Song Dynasty in 1034, served as China's first national highest college and the heart of the imperial examination system. Today, the entire area transforms into a spectacular, illuminated landscape at night, blending ancient architectural heritage with a bustling market of traditional snacks, crafts, and river cruises as a historic complex surrounded by bustling shops and traditional streets.
