Upon arrival in Shanghai, meet and greet our representative, transfer to hotel, check in, relax. 

After a short relaxation, have Lunch and proceed to explore the charming Yu Garden (Yuyuan), a 450-year-old beautifully preserved classical Chinese garden located in the heart of Shanghai's Old City, built during the Ming Dynasty by a government official to please his elderly parents, name "Yu" literally translates to peace and health, stands as one of Shanghai’s premier cultural landmarks, blending intricate Jiangnan-style architecture with sprawling rockeries, koi ponds, dragon-crested walls, and traditional architecture.

Visit the Chenghuang Temple Commercial Street, also commonly known as the Chenghuangmiao Market or Yuyuan Bazaar, one of Shanghai's most vibrant and historic tourist hubs, centered around the 600-year-old City God Temple, a bustling pedestrian complex seamlessly blends traditional Ming and Qing dynasty architecture with lively modern commerce. Local proverbs even state that "one has not truly been to Shanghai without visiting Chenghuang Temple," highlighting its cultural significance with local delicacies, handicrafts, and souvenirs.

Day 02 Shanghai (B/-/-)

After breakfast, proceed to discover the vibrant charm of Shanghai starting at Xintiandi, an affluent, car-free entertainment and shopping district located in the historic heart of Shanghai's Huangpu District, spanning roughly two city blocks, globally celebrated for pioneering the concept of "retro exterior, modern interior" urban redevelopment, beautifully preserves traditional 1920s Shikumen (stone gate) architecture, characterized by narrow alleyways, antique brick walls, and intricate stone arches, while completely modernizing the interiors to house high-end boutiques, upscale restaurants, and vibrant open-air bars, modern cafés, boutiques, and restaurants. 

Next, visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, explore the city’s impressive development through detailed scale models and interactive exhibits, followed by a visit to the iconic. 

Have Lunch, visit the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Shanghai, famous for its immersive coffee roasting experience. 

Stroll along the Bund to admire colonial-era architecture by the Huangpu River, and end the day shopping at lively Nanjing Road, one of the world’s busiest retail streets.

Day 03 Hangzhou (B/-/-)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to explore the artistic lanes of Tianzifang, a vibrant arts and crafts enclave nestled within a historic residential neighborhood of Shanghai's Former French Concession. Unlike the heavily reconstructed Xintiandi, Tianzifang maintains an organic, lived-in feel where trendy boutiques, art galleries, and cafes coexist with the everyday lives of local residents who still occupy the upper floors, where traditional Shikumen houses are transformed into charming boutiques, galleries, and cafés. 

Continue to the elegant Sinan Mansions, an upscale, historically preserved neighborhood in the former French Concession of Shanghai, located at Fuxing Middle Road in the Huangpu District, features 51 meticulously restored 1920s and 1930s Western-style garden villas, townhouses, and art-deco apartments. 

Next, stroll along the historic Wukang Road, is a 1.2-kilometer historic street in Shanghai's Xuhui District, formerly part of the French Concession, famous for its leafy plane trees and 1920s architecture, blends Parisian-style cafes and boutiques with landmarks like the iconic, ship-shaped Wukang Mansion, admired for its European-style architecture and old Shanghai ambiance. 

Have Lunch at local flavours at bustling Huanghe Road, known for its vibrant culinary scene. 

Next, take a journey to Hangzhou to wander through the lively Hefang Street, a vibrant, 800-year-old pedestrian street in Hangzhou, tracing its roots to the Southern Song Dynasty, serves as a "living museum" offering traditional wooden architecture, local street food, teahouses, century-old pharmacies, and artisanal crafts.

Day 04 Hangzhou (B/-/-)

After breakfast, proceed to experience the timeless beauty of a picturesque West Lake, with a relaxing boat ride across its tranquil waters, surrounded by poetic scenery and historic landmarks, a long the scenic New Southern Line, globally renowned freshwater lake located in the heart of Hangzhou, celebrated as a UNESCO World Heritage site that perfectly blends natural landscape design with historic Chinese culture, encircled by mountains on three sides and the urban city on the east, spans roughly 6.4 sq km and has inspired generations of imperial poets, artists, and scholars. 

Have Lunch, and visit the Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor, famous for its lush gardens and colorful koi-filled ponds. Discover spiritual serenity at Lingyin Temple, or the Temple of the Soul's Retreat, most renowned Buddhist temples and one of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious Chan (Zen) Buddhist monasteries in China, founded in 328 CE by the Indian monk Huili, this sprawling sanctuary is hidden within the lush forested hills northwest of Hangzhou's iconic West Lake. 

Next, explore the nearby Feilai Peak, also known as Feilai Feng or "Peak Flown from Afar", a famous 168-metre-tall limestone mountain located directly in front of the historic Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, celebrated for housing the largest and most significant cluster of ancient Buddhist grottoes and rock carvings in the Jiangnan region, a scenic forest surroundings.

Day 05 Suzhou (B/-/-)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to discover Hangzhou’s rich canal heritage at Gongchen Bridge, a historic stone bridge spanning the Grand Canal and offering picturesque views of the waterways in Hangzhou, that serves as the landmark southern terminus of the legendary UNESCO World Heritage-listed Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, originally constructed in 1631 during the Ming Dynasty, stands as the tallest and longest ancient stone arch bridge in the city. The name Gongchen carries royal significance, and the Gong means to salute or welcome, while Chen represents the emperor's palace, symbolizing the historic gateway where local officials would welcome visiting emperors. 

Have Lunch and stroll through Xiaohe Historical Street, also known as Xiaohe Straight Street or Xiaohe Zhijie, a beautifully preserved waterfront historic district located in the Gongshu District of Hangzhou, showcasing traditional architecture, cultural displays, and charming local shops, sits directly at the scenic intersection of the historic Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the Xiaohe River, and the Yuhangtang River. 

Unlike the heavily crowded tourist hubs near West Lake, Xiaohe Street offers a tranquil, authentic glimpse into the daily life and trade history of old Hangzhou. 

Continue to stroll at Pingjiang Road, a scenic canal-side street famed for its ancient buildings, teahouses, and nostalgic old-town ambiance.

Day 06 Suzhou (B/-/-)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to explore Suzhou’s cultural treasures starting with the historic Hanshan Temple, Cold Mountain Temple, a historic Buddhist temple located in the Gusu District of Suzhou, founded in the 6th century during the Liang Dynasty, it sits along the ancient Grand Canal. The temple is culturally immortalised by the famous Tang Dynasty poem "A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge" by Zhang Ji, famous for its bell-ringing ceremonies and classical poetry. 

Visit the architecturally stunning Suzhou Museum, designed by I.M. Pei, housing exquisite Chinese art and artifacts, a world-renowned cultural landmark in Suzhou, founded in 1960, the museum houses more than 30,000 priceless cultural relics, including ancient Chinese paintings, calligraphy, jades, and ceramics. 

Stroll through the serene Lingering Garden, or Liú Yuán in Suzhou, situated outside Changmen Gate, built in 1593 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) when a retired official named Xu Taishi commissioned well-known stonemason Zhou Shicheng to build it as his primary residence. 

Next, visit the alongside Humble Administrator's Garden, only 600 meters away from the Suzhou Museum, so you can take a stroll from the museum to the garden, covering an area of 5.2 hectares, the largest in Suzhou, so it is worth spending 2.5 hours to see the highlights in the garden. 

Visit the Beijing's Summer Palace, in Suzhou" refers to Suzhou Street (Suzhoujie) inside the Summer Palace in Beijing, commissioned in 1751 by Emperor Qianlong, a 270-meter replicated water town mimics the markets of the Yangtze River region, allowing Qing Dynasty royals to "go shopping" as ordinary citizens. 

Visit the Chengde Mountain Resort, also known as the Chengde Mountain Resort or the Jehol Summer Palace, constructed on the Chengde Summer Resort, began in the 42nd year of the Kangxi reign (1703). The summer resort was both the largest Qing dynasty imperial garden and also the best preserved among existing detached imperial palaces, renowned for its elegant landscaping and artistic layout. 

Conclude with a walk along Shantang Street, the most popular tourist destination in Suzhou, a street has preserved its traditional architecture and rural waterways for thousands of years, adding to Suzhou's charming and poetic appeal, a lively canal-side street lined with traditional architecture, shops, and cultural sites.

Day 07 Wuxi (B/-/-)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Wuxi, transfer to hotel, check in and relax.

After a short relaxation, refresh Huishan Ancient Town, a beautifully preserved historical landmark located at the foot of Huishan Mountain in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Boasting over 1,600 years of history, featuring traditional temples, historic buildings, and scenic landscapes, cultural treasure features standard Jiangnan-style architecture with distinctive whitewashed walls, black-tiled roofs, and winding canals. 

Next, visit the Museum of Chinese Ancestral Hall Culture typically refers to the renowned Huishan Ancient Town in Wuxi, Jiangsu province. Unlike typical water towns, this sprawling tourist attraction spans over 1,000 years and is uniquely composed of over a 100 ancient Ming and Qing dynasty family temples. 

Next, visit the Jichang Garden a world-renowned, 500-year-old classical Chinese garden located inside Xihui Park within the Huishan Ancient Town, a scenic area in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, first constructed in 1520 during the Ming Dynasty by an official named Qin Jin, it is universally celebrated as a masterpiece of Jiangnan hillside garden design and visited frequently by Qing Dynasty Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong.

Have Lunch, and visit the Second Spring Under Heaven or Tianxia Di'er Quan, a 1,200-year-old historically famous fresh water spring located inside Xihui Park at the foot of Mount Hui in western Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, also known as Huishan Spring, universally celebrated as a cultural landmark deeply tied to Chinese tea history and classical music. 

Later, visit the Huishan Clay Figurines, a famous traditional Chinese folk art originating from Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, with a rich history spanning over 400 years, listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, renowned for their vibrant colors, expressive features, and deep cultural roots. You can buy these adorable figurines or watch masters make them in local shops. 

Next, visit the Qingming Bridge, also spelled Qingmingqiao or Qingning Bridge, a charming historic bridge offering picturesque views of canals and classic architecture, as the crown jewel of the Qingming Bridge Ancient Canal Scenic Area, spans the ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the oldest, largest, and best-preserved single-arch stone bridge in Wuxi, located in the Liangxi District.

Wander along Shui Longtang, a scenic water alley or canal lane, represents a unique style of traditional waterfront community. These lanes are primarily found in historical water towns across China's Jiangnan region, renowned for its quaint waterways, traditional houses, and authentic cultural ambiance.

Day 08 Wuxi (B/-/-)

After breakfast, proceed to explore Wuxi’s serene gardens the Xihui Park and the Jichang Garden.  

Start with the Xihui Park, a renowned key state park and cultural scenic area located west of Wuxi in China's Jiangsu province, established in 1958, beautifully centered around Xishan (Mount Xi) and Huishan (Mount Hui), offering iconic panoramic city views, historical gardens, and a deep look into local cultural heritage. 

Next, visit the Jichang Garden, most celebrated historical jewel, located directly inside the park's boundaries, together, they combine expansive natural mountain landscapes with some of the finest classical Chinese garden architecture in South China. 

Have Lunch and visit the lakeside Liyuan Garden in Wuxi, famous for its lakeside Jiangnan vistas, refers to two highly famous classical Chinese gardens, each offering a completely different cultural experience depending on the location you are looking for. 

And the other garden, Liyuan Garden in Kaiping, famous for its unique blend of Western architecture and defensive watchtowers,  celebrated for its graceful pavilions, bridges, and landscaping. 

Conclude the day visiting the Xue Family Garden, also known as the Former Residence of Xue Fucheng, showcasing exquisite traditional architecture and garden artistry, located at Xueqian Street in the Liangxi District of Wuxi, built between 1890 and 1894, was the palatial estate of the prominent late-Qing Dynasty diplomat and reformer, Xue Fucheng. The 21,000-square-meter complex is famous for seamlessly blending traditional Jiangnan architecture with Western design elements.

Day 09 Nanjing (B/-/-)

After a short relaxation, have Lunch and start with the majestic Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum on scenic Purple Mountain, accessible via electric car, the burial site of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of the Republic of China, located at the foot of the second peak of Purple Mountain (Zijin Shan) in Nanjing, a massive architectural masterpiece blends traditional Chinese imperial style with modern functional design. Spanning over 80,000 square metres, it serves as a highly revered symbol of China's transition away from feudal dynastic rule. 

Next, explore the culturally rich, the Nanjing Confucius Temple, known locally as Fuzimiao, is a premier cultural landmark and vibrant pedestrian district located along the historic Qinhuai River in southern Nanjing, originally built during the Song Dynasty in 1034, served as China's first national highest college and the heart of the imperial examination system. Today, the entire area transforms into a spectacular, illuminated landscape at night, blending ancient architectural heritage with a bustling market of traditional snacks, crafts, and river cruises as a historic complex surrounded by bustling shops and traditional streets. 

End the tour by strolling along the Qinhuai River Scenic Belt, in Nanjing, famed for its picturesque riverside views, historic architecture, and vibrant night-time ambiance, a 5 km ancient waterway centering on the Confucius Temple,  features historical gardens, lantern-lit night cruises, and local street food. It is also accessible via Metro Line 3, it is a free scenic area with boat tours costing 80–100 RMB.

Day 10 Nanjing Departure (B/-/-)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to explore Nanjing’s modern history at the Nanjing Presidential Palace, a former office of the Republic of China’s president now serving as a museum, a historic complex in Xuanwu District, Nanjing, that houses the China Modern History Museum, covering over 90,000 square metres, this sprawling compound contains a unique blend of traditional Chinese Jiangnan architecture and early 20th-century Western Baroque designs. 

Enjoy the scenic beauty of Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area, a vast lakeside park perfect for walking, boating, and relaxing amidst nature, before transferring to the airport for the evening flight.
